We didn’t begin as a sourcing company. We began as buyers for our retail operation.
Before Gouden Bridge became an independent company, our team managed sourcing and supplier coordination within an established textile retail operation. That experience shaped the way we work today. We learned that successful sourcing is not simply about finding a factory, it is about protecting the buyer’s product, timeline, margin, and reputation.
Those years of hands-on buying experience became the foundation of Gouden Bridge: an independent sourcing and supply chain partner serving buyers across home textiles, hotel and hospital linen, apparel, sporting goods, and yarns and fabrics. Today, we work as an extension of our clients’ teams, managing every critical stage, from supplier selection and product development to quality assurance, logistics, and delivery, so our clients can focus on growing their business with confidence.

While visiting the Belgian city of Bruges, our founder was struck by a bridge spanning the Goudenhand Canal. As the setting sun reflected across the water, the bridge appeared to glow with a golden light.
That image inspired the name Gouden Bridge.
